Guess I should've made you not my background By now But darling I am still in love with you It's making me feel like I'm off of the ground Until i'm feeling my knees crashing through We were young Traced each others bodies with our tongues Well I traced yours and you let me do it once But the smell of spit and skin filled up my nose And hung for a while It was love We floated and saw the world from up above You way up high while I looked to the sky and hovered Floating with me, no from I saw the bottoms of your feet They were beautiful and far away The streets ate me up There was a crowd I was staring at you from the top floor of the house You were outside, I was inside out We were drunk There was a Mason jar of vodka in my trunk The band was great I just wasn't feeling punk Running with me, no from I saw the back of your head In the backs of the heads of Strangers that had pretty hair Turned around, no from Seeing my eyes so dead I was a creep perched in the sky You were leaving with a guy I couldn't move I couldn't cry And wandered into the the streets to find you But I was far too far behind you And wandered into the the streets to find you But you walked far too far far too far far too far

A sunny new sky on the horizon says I'll be here soon in pink and orange And I fall off the couch The door falls of the door-hinge And millions of people Masturbate every day If I could hear them I'm pretty sure I know what they'd be sayin' They'd say Can't find a dream You gotta let it find you But you gotta find a job Its not just gonna go find you Get something on your wall that will remind you There's a lot of small things To fine tune Who me? I was sad for a bit But I got back to the rhythm of giving all that I got and Dreams are like happiness Hard to tell when you're in 'em And clear as hell when you're not Take my advice Treat people nice And do just what you need And make sure you make people bleed Well I believe that drugs make me feel good And I believe that fruits are vegetables And Its not like those things aren't true They're just, you know Not super helpful for helping, no no They're not helpful To me When I was sad for a bit But I got back to the rhythm of giving all that I got and Dreams are like happiness Hard to tell when you're in 'em And clear as hell when you're not Who me? I was sad for a bit But I got back to the rhythm of giving all that I got and Dreams are like happiness Hard to tell when you're in 'em And clear as hell when you're not Who me? I was sad for a bit But I got back to the rhythm of giving all that I got to givin' Seize like an optimist So you're not killing the feeling you get When shooting your shot Who me? I was sad for a bit But I got back to the rhythm of giving all that I got and Seize like an optimist So you're not killing the feeling you get When shooting your shot Who me? I was sad, I was sad, I was sad But I got back, I got back, I got back and Dreams are like happiness Happiness Happiness Happiness Happiness Happiness

Soot coats the rose Crawling with aphids But Ladybug knows Just how sweet the taste is And I am a stadium watching a game It's a good one But nobody cheers Wheres the noise Could I hear it If I tried When you look me straight in the eyes I can soak it up Soak it up Soak it up Soak It up Discretely discard my disguise I can soak it up Soak it up Soak it up Soak it up Put on a dress and read to me You like the girl Rattling with piercings Metallic flavor I thought you favored sweetness And I am a summer lake Covered in bugs I'm covered in bugs Won't you try a taste Nobody does Nobody does Nobody Nobody No one So close your eyes, pray for rain When the clouds part there's Nothing to blame for your Swollen eyes And sticky face Now we can start again Burn all your clothes Burn your silky sweaters Burn all your books Bound in glazed goat leathers Burn all your clothes Burn your red lace dresses Burn all your books Read their glowing textes And burn all your clothes Watch them make their changes Burn all your books Read their crackling pages Put on a dress Put on your favorite Read me a book Read me your favorite So close your eyes, pray for rain When the clouds part there's Nothing to blame for your Swollen eyes and sticky face Now we can start again When you look me straight in the eyes I can soak it up Soak it up Soak it up Soak It up Discretely discard my disguise I can soak it up Soak it up Soak me up Soak me up

about

Bird Senses Danger Bellingham, Washington

Bird Senses Danger was born in Bellingham in 2017. Together they burned brightly until they famously exploded into a rainbow fireball of pop rock and were never seen again. In the ashes, a parting gift was found: "oh, to be a bug for one moment”. All they could’ve hoped is you enjoy what is left of this eclectic and electric indie rock band.

Jay, Calla, Gabe, Audrey and Jules.
